In his Doha debut, Wojciech Waleczek commanded an adoring audience at Qatar National Convention Center as he performed the enchanting First Piano Concerto by Fryderyk Chopin along with the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra on Friday.
Co-organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Doha and the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, the concert was held to commemorate the Independence Day of Poland which falls on November 11 as well as mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Poland and the State of Qatar celebrated this year.
