The Weißenfels City Festival took place from 28 to 31 August 2025.
Mayor Martin Papke opened the festival on 28 August 2025 in the market square.
Nearly 800 people attended the opening ceremony.
The highlight was a concert by internationally renowned pianist Wojciech Waleczek, who opened the festival together with violist Ewa Sidor and violinist Marcin Sidor.
The musicians were accompanied by dancing tango couples, who translated the classical music into movement on stage.
