On 21 November 2025, pianist Wojciech Waleczek performed at the Mukams Palace (Mukamlar köşgü) in the State Cultural Centre of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat, presenting a solo recital followed by a performance of Frédéric Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in E minor, Op. 11 with the National Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan under the baton of Maestro Rasul Klychev. The concert was preceded by orchestral rehearsals on 20 and 21 November 2025.
In the first part of the concert, Wojciech Waleczek performed the following solo piano works:

The program was designed to present Chopin’s masterpiece in the broader context of the European musical tradition.
Waleczek’s performance, both as a soloist and with the orchestra, was received with a standing ovation, and he offered an encore at the end of the evening.
On 22 November 2025, Wojciech Waleczek also led masterclasses at the Republican Music School in Ashgabat and at the National Conservatory of Turkmenistan.
