In May 2026 Wojciech Waleczek performed two piano recitals in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as part of the official celebrations of Europe Week 2026.
The concerts took place on 12 May 2026 at the Cultural Palace in Riyadh and on 14 May 2026 at the Saudi Music Hub in Al Khobar. Both performances were met with an enthusiastic reception from the audience and concluded with standing ovations and encores.
The recitals featured some of the greatest masterpieces of European classical music, presenting works by outstanding European composers and celebrating the richness of the continent’s musical heritage.
The concerts were organised by the Delegation of the European Union to Saudi Arabia in cooperation with the Saudi Music Commission and formed part of the official cultural programme promoting European culture and intercultural dialogue.
