In September 2026, Wojciech Waleczek gave a series of piano recitals in Germany, presenting both classical repertoire and his original project “Liszt meets Queen.”
The tour began on 14 September in Norddorf auf Amrum, where he performed The Greatest Hits of Classical Music with works by Chopin, Liszt, Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Albeniz and Debussy.
On 15 September, Waleczek appeared at the Kurgartensaal in Wyk auf Föhr with the programme Liszt und Pyka meet Queen, combining Romantic piano virtuosity with his own artistic reinterpretations of the music of Queen.
On 20 September, he performed “Liszt meets Queen” at the Schlosskonzerte Kirchberg an der Jagst, in the historic Rittersaal of Schloss Kirchberg. The concert formed part of the venue’s 2026 subscription series.
The September series concluded on 26 September in Grünberg with another performance of “Liszt meets Queen.”
The concerts once again highlighted Waleczek’s artistic approach of creating a dialogue between the classical piano tradition and the music of rock legends.
