SCHUBERT MEETS BEETHOVEN

SCHUBERT MEETS BEETHOVEN

PIANO RECITAL

Wojciech Waleczek – piano

The piano works of Ludwig van Beethoven and Franz Schubert represent one of the most profound artistic dialogues in the history of European music. This recital programme explores the unique relationship between the two composers, highlighting both Beethoven’s revolutionary musical language and Schubert’s deeply lyrical and introspective style.

Franz Schubert, who greatly admired Beethoven, continued and transformed the Viennese classical tradition, creating piano works of exceptional emotional depth and poetic intensity. Presented together, their compositions reveal the evolution of the piano repertoire at a decisive moment in European musical history.

This programme offers audiences a compelling artistic journey through the Viennese classical and early Romantic tradition and is particularly suitable for concert halls, piano recital series, festivals, and cultural institutions.

Duration: approx. 60–90 minutes
Programme may be adapted to specific venues and institutional contexts.

This programme represents a recent addition to Prof. Waleczek’s international recital repertoire and is available for concert seasons 2027–2028.
